Hanover is one of the world famous German warmblood breeds. They are among the most successful and most popular breeds. Now you’re probably asking yourself “what is a warmblood?” the term combines features of both horse types, I.e. Hot-blooded and cold-blooded. They can be used for riding as well as for heavy work. They are world-renowned in dressage and jumping. They are known worldwide as outstanding jumpers. They tend to be powerful, docile, well-balanced, reliable and sporty. These are traits that strengthen their discipline in equestrian sports. These horses eat plants. They like fresh food, but also eat pressed concentrated food. Typical food items include hay, carrots, fruit, grass, Oats and Barley. They drink up to 40 liters of water per day.
